Question 1

What is The Linen Collective?

Accepted Answer

The Linen Collective is a professional commercial linen-care service for beauty, personal-care, massage, spa, salon, barber, nail, and wellness businesses. We pick up your dirty business linens, professionally launder them, fold and package them, and return them ready for use.

Question 2

Who do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We serve businesses across the broader beauty, personal-care, massage, spa, and wellness industry — including hair salons, barber shops, nail salons, massage therapists and studios, spas and med spas, esthetician, wax, lash and brow studios, wellness centers, recovery and stretch studios, and other personal-care businesses. We are not a residential laundry service.

Question 3

What is included in each plan?

Accepted Answer

Linen Essential ($129/month) includes 1 load per week, up to 20 lbs per load, 1 scheduled pickup per week, and scheduled return. Linen Professional ($229/month) includes 2 loads per week, up to 20 lbs per load, 2 scheduled pickups per week, and scheduled return. Linen Studio ($319/month) includes 3 loads per week, up to 20 lbs per load, 3 scheduled pickups per week, and scheduled return. Memberships are based on weekly laundry capacity and scheduled pickup frequency — they are not unlimited laundry.

Question 4

What is considered one load, and how much does it hold?

Accepted Answer

One included load is up to 20 lbs of accepted business linens — one full designated Linen Collective service bag.

Question 5

What are the pickup days and times?

Accepted Answer

Thursday 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM, Thursday 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Friday 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Linen Studio only), and Saturday 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM.

Question 6

When will my linens be returned?

Accepted Answer

Your return schedule is set automatically by your pickup window. Thursday 7–9 AM returns Friday starting at 4:00 PM. Thursday 4–5 PM returns Friday starting at 4:00 PM. Friday 4–5 PM returns Saturday. Saturday 7–9:30 AM returns Sunday starting at 2:00 PM.

Question 7

Who can use the Friday pickup?

Accepted Answer

The Friday 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM pickup window is available to Linen Studio customers only.

Question 8

Can I choose my pickup window?

Accepted Answer

Yes. During booking you select your pickup window(s) from the available routes: one window for Essential, two different windows for Professional, and three different windows for Studio. The same window cannot be selected twice, and checkout is not available until the required windows are selected.

Question 9

Can I change my recurring pickup window?

Accepted Answer

Recurring windows are part of your route assignment, so changes go through a schedule-change request in your customer account. The Linen Collective confirms the change based on route availability.

Question 10

What happens if I miss my pickup or drop-off?

Accepted Answer

The appointment is marked as missed, you are notified, and The Linen Collective reschedules according to route availability. Any applicable rescheduling or additional service fee is applied according to the Linen Service Agreement. Same-day reattempts are not guaranteed.

Question 11

Does someone need to be present?

Accepted Answer

Yes. An authorized representative from your business must be present during every scheduled pickup and drop-off window — to provide the designated service bag(s) at pickup and to receive the clean linens at drop-off. Linens are not left unattended.

Question 12

Do I receive a Linen Collective service bag, and who owns it?

Accepted Answer

Every membership customer receives a designated Linen Collective service bag designed to hold up to 20 lbs of accepted business linens, and one-time trial customers receive a designated bag for that service. The bag is assigned to your business while you are an active customer and remains the property of The Linen Collective.

Question 13

Can I overfill the bag? What if I have more than 20 lbs?

Accepted Answer

Please do not overfill the bag beyond its 20-lb capacity. If you have more than 20 lbs, purchase an additional 20-lb load for $45, subject to route and processing availability.

Question 14

What is an additional load?

Accepted Answer

An additional 20-lb load is extra laundry capacity beyond your membership for $45. Additional loads are subject to route and processing availability and are billed separately from the monthly membership.

Question 15

What is an additional pickup?

Accepted Answer

An additional pickup ($25) is a pickup outside your scheduled membership route, subject to route availability. It does not automatically include additional laundry capacity unless an additional load is also purchased.

Question 16

What happens if I need more than 60 lbs per week?

Accepted Answer

Businesses requiring more than 60 lbs per week may qualify for a customized Commercial account. Submit a commercial quote request and we will complete a customized volume assessment.

Question 17

What does the $45 One-Time Trial Pickup include?

Accepted Answer

The $45 One-Time Trial Pickup is a one-time service that includes one scheduled pickup, up to 20 lbs of accepted business linens, professional laundering, drying, folding, a quality check, and scheduled return according to the assigned route. It is a one-time payment — not a weekly price, not a monthly price, and not a subscription. There is no recurring charge.

Question 18

How does first-month pricing work?

Accepted Answer

Every monthly plan includes a special introductory rate for your first month: Linen Essential is $99 for the first month, Linen Professional is $150, and Linen Studio is $250. These are first-month promotional prices only — they are not the permanent monthly prices.

Question 19

What happens after my introductory first month?

Accepted Answer

Your plan continues at its regular monthly price: Linen Essential $129/month, Linen Professional $229/month, or Linen Studio $319/month, according to the existing pricing and service terms in the Linen Service Agreement.

Question 20

What linens do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We process accepted business linens such as towels, hand and facial towels, salon and barber towels, massage sheets, flat and fitted sheets, pillowcases, robes, blankets, treatment linens, headbands, pedicure towels, and waxing towels. All accepted items must be suitable for standard commercial laundering and must fit within the applicable load limit.

Question 21

What items do you not accept?

Accepted Answer

Needles, sharps, medical waste, hazardous chemicals, infectious or biohazard materials, and items with heavy blood or bodily-fluid contamination are not accepted.

Question 22

What happens if a prohibited item is placed in my bag?

Accepted Answer

Customers must not place prohibited, hazardous, contaminated, or unauthorized materials inside Linen Collective service bags. If a prohibited item is found, the affected items may not be processed, the item may be returned or handled according to safety requirements, and applicable fees may apply according to the Linen Service Agreement.

Question 23

Can I request rush service?

Accepted Answer

Rush service is available with custom pricing based on your turnaround requirements and route availability.

Question 24

Do you service multiple locations or offer linen rental?

Accepted Answer

Multi-location service and linen rental are handled through a commercial account. Submit a commercial quote request and we'll build a program around your locations and volume.

Question 25

How does commercial pricing work?

Accepted Answer

Commercial pricing is custom and determined after a personalized volume assessment. Businesses submit a quote request first — there is no automatic fixed checkout amount for commercial accounts.

Question 26

How do I get started?

Accepted Answer

Book the $45 One-Time Trial Pickup, or choose a monthly plan that matches your weekly linen volume and start at its first-month rate, or request a commercial quote if your business needs more than 60 lbs per week, multiple pickups, multiple locations, large-volume processing, or linen rental.
